CARE International Indonesia, an international Non-Government Organization is responding to the Yogyakarta emergency with interventions in water, health, and food sectors is seeking a person for the following position :
EMERGENCY TEAM LEADER
The Team Leader (TL) is the principal operational manager for CARE’s emergency response and the initial phase of recovery following the Jogjakarta earthquake. The TL carries overall responsibility for all projects in the Jogjakarta area, including administrative, financial, and programmatic management in accordance with SPHERE standards and CARE policies and procedures. Managing partnerships with GoI, NGOs, and UN agencies is a key part of the job.
Duty Station: Yogyakarta
Duration: four months with possible extension
Compensation: commensurate with experience
Qualifications :
§ Experience in managing emergency relief and development projects
§ Proven ability to oversee financial control, staff, and logistics
§ Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
§ Representation skills to media, donors, and partners
